Chelsea looking to strengthen before Club World Cup

Chelsea are actively seeking to strengthen their goalkeeping options and have identified AC Milan's Mike Maignan as a primary target.  Maignan has reportedly expressed a desire to move to Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea aim to finalize a deal before departing for the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States next week  .

In addition to potential changes in goal, Chelsea have bolstered their attacking lineup by signing 22-year-old forward Liam Delap from Ipswich Town for £30 million.  They are also monitoring Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens as a prospective addition to their attacking options  .

As the summer transfer window progresses, Chelsea's interest in Kudus reflects their ongoing efforts to enhance the squad under manager Enzo Maresca.  While no formal agreement has been reached, the club is evaluating the potential acquisition as part of their broader strategy to compete at the highest levels domestically and in Europe.

After a disappointing campaign, Graham Potter will be desperate to strengthen the West Ham squad this summer. If they can secure a reasonable fee for Kudus, they might be able to reinforce other areas of the pitch. They have been linked with the now former Chelsea loanee, Jadon Sancho.

Another centre-back and a defensive midfielder would also come in handy at the London Stadium. Perhaps Chelsea’s huge squad could prove a useful source for further signings.
