Where do West Ham go from here? Just over two years since the unforgettable night in Prague, it already feels like a distant memory. What should have been the start of something bigger has instead turned into a crisis.
Two failed managers, wasted money in the transfer market, a team that has lost its identity and a board that supporters no longer trust. The Conference League triumph was supposed to push us on, yet we have gone backwards at an alarming rate.
The protests against David Sullivan and Karren Brady before the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace summed up the mood. Fans are frustrated because the club looks like it has no plan. We cannot see an identity, a strategy or even a clear idea of what West Ham want to be. Money has been spent, but it feels like much of it has been thrown away.

Now we are at another crossroads, and the blame is once again self-inflicted. Graham Potter looks lost, with his side struggling to do the basics. We cannot even defend corners. It is hard to see how he survives much longer. Yes, sacking him will cost, but it could cost us far more if he stays and takes us down.
Nuno EspĂrito Santo is out there, and what he did at Nottingham Forest shows he knows how to get the best out of a struggling squad. For many fans, the answer feels obvious. The board need to act quickly before the damage becomes irreparable.
Until that happens, and until stability finally returns to east London, the protests will only get louder.
