A dramatic own goal by Gabriel Gudmundsson in stoppage time gave Fulham a fortunate first Premier League win of the season at the expense of Leeds United.

Billy: A crucial victory. Kevin transformed the game and secured the win. He must start in future matches.

Bryan: While the result and our first three points of the season are welcome, my satisfaction is tempered by the negativity in our style of play, with too much sideways and backward passing. I wish Marco would take more risks and energise the crowd. A striker is urgently needed.

Matty: It has been a challenging start for various reasons, but five points from these games is something to be pleased with. Hopefully Silva can integrate the new players into the squad quickly, and I am confident he can.

Iain: As a supporter for more than 70 years, I am familiar with disappointment, but there are occasional highs. Marco is a good manager, yet I do not understand pairing Lucic and Berge unless the aim is to play very defensively. Both are capable players, but more creativity is needed.

Robbie: There were plenty of negatives against a Leeds side that dominated at times. Iwobi, Wilson and Sessegnon all seemed off form. Kevin’s brief appearance was dazzling, and Gudmundsson’s own goal was remarkable.

Mo: For a long time, though, this looked like another frustrating afternoon. We lacked a bit of quality in the final third. However, we were fantastic in the last 30 minutes and more than deserved three points. Onwards and upwards. I quite fancy a cup run this season.

Tara: I think we were far better in the second half, showing more dynamism. There is always a hint of fatigue in these moments, but in the final 30 minutes we managed to create several dangerous chances in and around their box. Rodrigo’s header was excellent, and we should have found the net. An own goal in the final minute gave us the points, so we must acknowledge we were a little fortunate.
