The home fans created a fantastic atmosphere |
Oliver: Excellent point on an away day against a tricky surface and a very well-coached team. Despite what some reports might suggest, Spurs have been showing signs of resilience for some time. Growth takes patience, but tonight we glimpsed some promising progress.
Daniel: Not bad from Spurs considering they effectively had just nine real players on the pitch for most of the match. Johnson and Richarlison were barely involved.
Henry: Spurs are a different proposition under Thomas Frank. There is more energy, movement, and a never-say-die attitude. Much more enjoyable to watch. True Spurs in my view. I expect they will continue to improve.

Colin: Spurs continue to grind out results even when playing below par. I had my doubts about the team selection, but the spirit is there this season. We have had a couple of fortunate draws, and now we need to start beating the teams we are expected to beat if we want this squad to succeed.
These fans were less positive...
Graham: Calling Spurs pathetic would not be strong enough - they were not even good enough to merit that description. Poor passing, weak defending… it is a miracle they came away with a point. They should have taken nothing. Last season was bad, but this performance matched it. Their overall display was a joke. Absolutely dreadful.

Martin: What happened to our flying start? This is the second game in a row where we have struggled massively against sides we should be beating. Frank will need to make changes if he wants to challenge for trophies.
Ethan: A very poor performance in a match we should have won. Thomas Frank made a tactical error by starting Brennan Johnson, and there were many reminders of last season’s problems. That said, securing a point shows some improvement in mentality. Frank must identify and correct these mistakes.
