A rather dull Saturday lunchtime fixture
Brentford missed the opportunity to climb to sixth in the Premier League after a goalless draw with Fulham

Victory would have taken the Bees above Chelsea and strengthened hopes of a first European campaign, but they were unable to make their moments count in a game short on clear chances at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The former Brentford and Tottenham boss Thomas Frank was watching from the stands and he would have been hoping his old players moved a bit closer to Europa or Conference League qualification. Once the match kicked off, Fulham saw more of the ball, yet Brentford created the better openings in what was a mostly underwhelming early kick-off.
Igor Thiago, one goal behind Erling Haaland in the Golden Boot race, headed wide from close range early on, while Keane Lewis-Potter fired just over from eight yards in first-half stoppage time.
There wasn't much excitement in the second-half
Dango Ouattara, responsible for the only shot on target before the break, failed to test Bernd Leno with a long-range effort shortly after the restart.
Mikkel Damsgaard then missed the target from the edge of the area after being played through by Kevin Schade, as frustration grew for Keith Andrews’ side.
Fulham threatened late on when Harry Wilson timed his run to meet a cross in the 78th minute, but dragged his effort wide. Leno then tipped over a Mathias Jensen free-kick before producing a fine save to deny Ouattara from close range in stoppage time, preserving a point.
Brentford remain seventh on 48 points, while Fulham sit 12th, three points behind with five games to play.
