Campbell nets winner as Charlton Athletic beat Derby
There was opening-day delight for Charlton in the Championship as they came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Derby County

Tyreece Campbell continued his fine start to the season by making it two goals in two games, firing home the winner in front of the Covered End after Lloyd Jones had cancelled out Sammie Szmodics' first-half opener.
A closer analysis of what happened
Charlton made a bright start in SE7 and won their first corner inside the opening minute. Sonny Carey swung the ball into the box and Billy Koumetio met it with a header that narrowly missed the target.
Karlan Grant then tested Jacob Widell Zetterström from distance, but the Derby goalkeeper gathered comfortably.
The visitors began to increase the pressure midway through the first half, with Szmodics seeing a shot from inside the box blocked by Will Mannion.
Derby continued to threaten and Carlton Morris found his way into the box before feeding Szmodics, who calmly slotted the ball past Mannion to put the Rams ahead after 23 minutes.
Charlton came close to an equaliser before the break. Campbell's effort was parried by Zetterström and Danny McNamara followed up with a shot that looked destined for the net, only for Charlie Taylor to produce a crucial block.
Campbell was increasingly influential down the left and soon worked his way beyond his marker before firing straight at Zetterström from a tight angle.
Carey appealed for a penalty shortly before half-time, but the referee waved away the claims. Campbell was then fouled on the edge of the area, although Charlton failed to make the resulting free kick count as they went into the interval 1-0 down.
Into the second-half
The Addicks created a good opportunity to level less than 10 minutes into the second half. Nathaniel Chalobah rose highest to meet Carey's corner but could only glance his header wide.
Moments later, McNamara produced an excellent block at the other end to deny Derby a second goal from Oscar Fraulo's effort.
Nathan Jones made a double change on 59 minutes, introducing Miles Leaburn and Millenic Alli for Godden and Carey.
Sondre Langås was booked shortly afterwards for a lengthy shirt pull on Campbell as Charlton began to turn the screw.
Their pressure finally paid off on 61 minutes
Chalobah worked the ball out to Grant on the flank, and his perfectly weighted cross found captain Jones, who headed home in front of a packed Covered End.
Jones made another change with just over 15 minutes remaining, bringing on Joe Rankin-Costello for Grant, who was making his 100th appearance for Charlton on his return to The Valley.
Mannion then produced an excellent save to keep out Fraulo's volley as Derby looked to regain the lead.
Instead, Charlton struck again. Rankin-Costello played a fine through ball to release Leaburn, who held off the Derby defence and waited for support before setting up Campbell. The forward made no mistake, smashing the ball beyond Zetterström to complete the comeback.
Derby responded with four substitutions as they searched for a way back into the game.
Jones made his final changes in the closing stages, with Collins Sichenje and Ivan Mesík replacing Chalobah and McNamara.
Eight minutes of stoppage time were added
Alex Mowatt was booked for a foul on Alli as Charlton continued to defend their advantage.
Morris had a late chance to rescue a point for Derby, but his effort took a deflection and went behind for a corner, which came to nothing. Rhian Brewster was then booked for dissent following a foul on Amari'i Bell.
Charlton held firm to secure three points and make the perfect start to their Championship campaign. On the balance of the afternoon, it was no more than Nathan Jones' side deserved.
