It has been a strange start to the season for Julien Stéphan and his players. Since they were thrashed 7-1 against Frank Lampard's Coventry City, they haven't lost and look more like a side that could challenge some of the league's biggest and best for a spot in the end-of-season play-offs.
Last time out
QPR were held by Oxford United at Loftus Road in midweek. This was a game where they dominated possession but struggled to create many clear-cut chances.
Rhys Norrington-Davies was probably their best player on the night. In addition to another solid defensive display, he also offered some much-needed attacking drive.

QPR team news
There is hope that Jake Clarke-Salter could make his first-team return after suffering a hip injury back in January. He played for the club’s development side against a Swansea City side, but only managed 11 minutes, having been forced off due to another injury. However, it has been reported that a recent scan showed nothing of note, and no further injuries to be aware of.
A quick look at the opposition
They played out a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town on Tuesday night, with Rob Atkinson netting for the first time in two years for the Robins. They currently sit in 5th place in the table but have only twice in their last six matches, drawing on three occasions.
A couple of interesting stats
QPR endured a barren run of 10 away league matches without victory at Bristol City between 2004 and 2019, but have since won four of their last five visits to Ashton Gate, drawing the other.
