Charlton continue fine form with a win at Mansfield Charlton Athletic extended their impressive run with a battling 2-1 victory at Mansfield, making it seven wins and a draw from their last eight games. Author - Terry J The visitors started strongly and came close to an early breakthrough, with Thierry Small heading wide from Tyreece Campbell’s inviting cross inside the opening two minutes.  Macaulay Gillesphey then tested Christy Pym with a low drive after 13 minutes, but the Mansfield goalkeeper was equal to it. Charlton’s pressure paid off in the 22nd minute, albeit with a slice of fortune.
